After no less than four COVID-related cancellations in 2020 and 2021, the biggest names in music are once again heading to the Indio desert for the Coachella festival on the weekends of April 15-17 and April 22-24 — at least, as of today. The pandemic taught us that it is not worth betting on concerts, much less festivals, happening when they are scheduled.

Coachella revealed its 2022 lineup on January 12, with Harry Styles, Billie Eilish and Ye as headliners. EDM heavyweights Swedish House Mafia were given separate billing. Breakout acts such as Phoebe Bridgers and Megan Thee Stallion are also featured on the bill.

To see the remainder of the bill, you will need a magnifying or microscope. It’s a shame, because there are many riches down the marquee. There are some well-known names in small print, just like pop queens Carly Rae Jepsen or Kim Petras. Not only are there future stars in multiple genres, but they also have a lot of them.

From punk rock to hip hop alternative country, there is something for everyone at Coachella 2022:. All you have to do to find them is strain your eyes or increase the font size of your phone. To save you the effort, we have rounded up 10 must-see acts from the lower reaches of the stacked lineup, who are well worth investigating in advance of the concert.
