Netflix is going big with its forthcoming Resident Evil series. The series is based on the massive survival-horror game franchise of the exact same title, and thanks to presentations throughout the Netflix-hosted Geeked Week, we finally know a number of the cast playing the terror franchise’s most memorable characters.
Actor Lance Reddick is stepping to the suave shoes of Albert Wesker, an elite police squad leader with his own dark agenda. Mixing Reddick are Ella Balinska, Tamara Smart, Siena Agudong, Adeline Rudolph and Paola Nunez, although their functions have not been declared. You can check out a formal shot of the throw statement below.
Details are still scarce overall but from what Netflix has contributed, this series won’t exactly follow the storyline of these matches. Instead, it’s going occur in just two timelines: one which follows the fourteen-year-old sisters Jade and Billie Wesker, while another is set over a decade in the future, where the deadly T-virus has nearly wiped out humanity.
There’s no release window for the series, though we do know the first season will include eight one-hour episodes.
