Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) has named Kenny Robinson as vice president and chief diversity officer, effective May 31. Robinson will report directly to Kathy Warden as chair, chief executive officer, and president. He will also work closely with the company’s executive leadership team. He is succeeding Sandra Evers-Manly, who is retiring in June, after a 40-year career with Northrop Grumman. Robinson’s appointment is a continuation of the company’s strong commitment towards diversity, inclusion and a work environment that provides opportunities for all.
Robinson continues to promote Northrop Grummans diversity and equity and inclusion strategy and programs. He will also continue to lead the companys corporate citizenship and DEI programs. He will also serve as the president of the Northrop Grumman Foundation.
Robinson currently serves as vice president, Engineering and Sciences of a Mission Systems sector division. He was previously the leader of organizations in the company’s Space business. Robinson joined Northrop Grumman in 2007 following a distinguished career in the U.S. Air Force, culminating as the commander, Global Positioning System Control Segment Group. He has a bachelor’s degree from the U.S. Air Force Academy in biological sciences and a master’s degree from Lesley University in applied management.
