The favorite Fortnite Reboot-A-Friend event has returned. Players can now earn free in-game cosmetics by bringing their friends back into Fortnite Season 6. Here is how.
Epic Games have reintroduced the popular Reboot-A-Friend advertising to Fortnite Season 6. This event rewards players for bringing their buddies back to the match. Playing with friends who haven’t been on Fortnite in over 30 times will net you a few exclusive rewards.
We saw the exact same promotion run this past year, but Epic revived it 2021 — now offering players some significant rewards for rebooting their own buddies.
Unlike the initial Reboot-A-Friend system, which finished in January 2021, players can earn points towards cosmetic rewards rather than rewards for every game they playwith. Players who reboot a buddy will make 100 points for their first game and 10 points for each and every game after that.
To unlock all the rewards, you’ll need to earn 400 points. Here are the requirements for all of the Reboot-A-Friend rewards.
- 100 points: Reboot a Friend Spray
- 200 points: Heartbeat Wrap
- 300 factors: Toxic Flash Glider
- 400 factors: Plasma Carrot Pickaxe
You do not need to rely on inactive players to receive your rewards, either. You have to Reboot someone to deserve the 100-point bonus, but you can make 10 points for each game you play with any friend.
If you reboot into four friends, you can easily get 100 points each match and unlock each of the rewards in one play session.
There’s no ending on the Reboot-A-Friend occasion as of now, but we assume Epic will alter the prizes later on. We’ll make sure to update you if they alter any rewards or requirements.

The Recycler has finally come to Fortnite Season 6. Here’s everything you need to learn about the newest weapon in the game, such as the stats and the best way to locate it.
In the most recent content update, Epic added the first new weapon to Fortnite Season 6: the Recycler. Like many weapons, you will discover it in flooring loot and chests. The Recycler spawns in Rare, Epic, and Legendary rarity.
The Recycler is an interesting weapon, because it doesn’t take any ordinary ammo to use. Instead, you suck up materials and structures and use that for ammo. The utmost magazine dimensions is , but there’s a virtually unlimited pool of ammo all around you at all times.
As expected, the harm of the Recycler scales based on its rarity. Here’s a breakdown of the data:
- Rare: 75 harm
- Epic: 79 harm
- Legendary: 83 harm
This weapon probably isn’t worth upgrading in the event that you discover a grim one, as the damage difference does not justify spending gold within an upgrade.
The Recycler works a lot like a Grenade Launcher does, but without the splash damage. You have to hit a participant right for this to deal any damage to them. It also isn’t too proficient at breaking walls with its principal fire.
With the restricted use of this weapon that is new, we believe it might be a tad underpowered. Right nowwe don’t see much of a reason for someone to pick it up within an SMG, modded Bow, Shockwave Grenade, or even additional healing item.
Despite this, it is fascinating to see Epic take new instructions when creating Fortnite weapons. We’re excited to see what this means for the future of this match.

Fortnite Season 6 permits players to disguise themselves as a prop to fake-out opponents. Here’s how you can become a propyourself.
The newest Fortnite season introduced a host of new mechanisms into the game. The crafting system is the most obvious of the many modifications, but there is a couple of other people to research.
One of these new mechanics reworks an older, contentious element from Chapter 1. Longtime players will recall the update in Season Xwhere crouching in Moisty Palms turned into a prop.
Players were split with this shift, with some using it for fun and others growing frustrated with late-game crouching. Today, in Chapter 2 Season 6, the feature is back and has greatly improved.
Fortnite Season 6 prop locations
Instead of letting gamers to accidentally turn into a prop, Epic made it far more intentional. You will need to buy this feature from NPCs in Season 6, and just a handful of these offer the update.
This year, you can turn into anything from a mailbox into a trashcan into a Slurp Barrel — drawing competitions toward you. It can be a helpful feature, and will undoubtedly make for some amusing clips.
Only five NPCs offer this upgrade, however. These NPCs are:
- Bushranger in Pleasant Park
- Raz in Coral Crops
- Crustina in The Orchard/Tomato Town
- Jekyll at Steamy Stacks
- Snow Sniper east of Retail Row
The upgrade will only price 75 gold — which makes it among the more affordable alternatives out there.

Of course, it is best to utilize this feature near the middle of this storm circle. Otherwise, you’ll want to rotate dressed as a prop — unable to farm or shoot at enemies without breaking your disguise.
We do not overlook that disguising yourself as a prop will be a part of a prospective Fortnite Season 6 obstacle. We’ll update this guide if/when Epic add more NPCs that offer prop disguises.
Are you wondering how to receive your hands on the potent Mythic Spire Jumpboots at Fortnite Season 6? Here’s a guide for you.

The Mythic Spire Jumpboots are just one of two Mythic items presently in Fortnite Season 6. Here is what you have to do to get your hands on these.
Of course, Epic added some new weapons and things to the game too. One of these items is the Mythic Spire Jumpboots, plus they are pretty difficult to get your hands on. Here is what you need to do.
How to Have the Mythic Spire Jumpboots
The first step in your quest to obtain the Spire Jumpboots is to visit and remove one of the Guardians around the map (not like the one safeguarding The Spire). You’ll find these Guardians in the small spires around the map.
You are able to see the Guardians’ general locations on the map below, but they’re difficult to miss ’em. Should you land at one of those smaller spires, one will be waiting for you.
If you’ve already removed one of those Guardians, then you likely noticed they drop a strange orb. You are able to carry the orb, but can not do anything else with it.
If you look closely, however, there’s a beam coming off of this orb, drawing on you to The Spire and the Zero Point. Should you choose one of those orbs all the way into The Spire and set it within the crystal there, the Mythic Spire Jumboots will pop out to you. Here is the full procedure:
- Eliminate a Guardian
- Carry the Orb into The Spire
- Insert the Orb to the circular crystal
These Jumpboots occupy an inventory slot but are incredibly powerful. A double-jump with all the boots prevents autumn damage, and a triple-jump allows you to re-deploy your Glider.
As strong as these boots really are, they are even more difficult to get. You’ll need to carry one of those orbs all the way from a Guardian outpost, then expect that The Spire is uncontested — a long-shot in any moment in the season.
The fantastic thing is you can sit in the passenger’s seat of a car using the Orb, making it much easier to transport. Still, this is a tall task for players. Good luck!
