Fortnite personality places map
Luckily, the people at Fortnite.GG have an interactive map of all the NPCs in Season 6.
Here’s a map of each of the NPCs in Fortnite Season 7. We are going to keep this updated within the course of the season as more appear or are observed around the map. Bigfoot, for instance, is missing from this list. We are not sure whether that’s because he’s not there or simply hasn’t been discovered yet.
- Green icon: can hire the NPC
- Disguised man: provides a prop disguise
- Blue weapons: can duel the NPC
- Pink Rift: lets you activate a Rift
- Yellow Box: can call down a Supply Drop
Compared to seasons past, the number of NPCs around the map is very minimal. As well, players can no longer upgrade weapons through NPCs. As for Exotic weapons, there is only 1 NPC that has a distinctive weapon and that is Dr. Slone at Corny Complex.

Below is a map designed by Fortnite.gg that shows the areas of the existing Alien Artifacts. More Artifacts will be added each week at different locations around the map. Each of the Fortnite Alien Artifact locations gives players four artifacts. A gold rarity has yet to be added that will give players seven.
The Alien Artifacts are out in the open and make a feint noise when nearby. This makes them simple to locate and collect. To collect them, players should simply walk into them. They are even able to drive through them using a boat, vehicle, or UFO. The artifacts will be awarded to players when they come back to the lobby following the game.
There aren’t any other applications for Alien Artifacts outside of buying Kymera parts. The new Cosmic Chests are filled with some quite valuable materials which makes them highly desired. Here is the way that players can open and find Cosmic Chests in Fortnite Season 7.
Cosmic Chests are a new sort of looting added at the start of Season 7. They’re much like Legendary Chests, Loot Llamas, and Supply Drops in term of what they fall. But they are more difficult to open and will fall bonus rewards for each participant.
Each torso will drop an Epic or Legendary weapon for every member of the celebration. At the same time, they will fall 3 bonus items for each player on the squad. These bonus items may be 1-3 Alien Artifacts, Gold Bars, and 125-1050 XP. They also have the capacity to fall Battle Stars, but that has not been activated yet.
Find and open Cosmic Chests
First of all, Cosmic Chests will only appear in Duos, Trios, and Squads manners. They can’t spawn in Solos as it requires a squad to open them. This also suggests a solo player at Squads can not start them. They will randomly spawn in through a game, and as shown on the map below, an icon will look for all players. Like provide drops, everyone in the game can see the location of the chest when it spawns.

When approaching a Cosmic Chest, it is going to request that members members be present. The torso can’t begin to be opened until everyone is nearby. Then, it will ask players to take turns hitting the weak place which appears. Each player will get one strike before the next player has to go. Once all 10 weak points have been struck, the chest will open.
If a player hits the chest and it isn’t their turn, they’ll be launched from the torso. The order in which players have been chosen to strike the chest are also random. This means players will need to pay attention so they can open the torso before enemy squads arrive.
Chests have the opportunity to shed Rocket Launchers and other precious weaponry. However, players will probably be hunting down them to acquire the Alien Artifacts. These are utilised to unlock Kymera parts, and Cosmic Chests in Fortnite would be the only way to get Alien Artifacts out of the weekly locations.

Crafting has stuck around and Upgrade Benches have made a successful return! Here is the way to update weapons in Fortnite Season 7 to get the ideal price.
Fortnite Season 5 did away with Upgrade Benches — instead, integrating weapon updates into the new Gold Bars system. In Season 6, Epic introduced another new way to upgrade weapons from the form of the crafting system.
Now, at the start of Fornite Season 7, Upgrade Benches have returned to The Island, but they’re different than before. Regrettably, the ability to use NPCs to upgrade weapons has been removed, but utilizing a Weapon Upgrade bench is just as easy.
Upgrade weapons in Fortnite Season 7
Season 7 has thinned out the number of NPCs available and has eliminated one of their most useful capabilities. Players can not visit an NPC and throw a few gold bars their way to upgrade weapons . Rather, players have to either craft fresh weapons or utilize Upgrade Benches.
The map below shows the location of each weapon upgrade bench in Season 7. In prior seasons, players would need to expend building materials to upgrade weapons. But now upgrade benches accept gold bars in exchange for uprgades.
So, while there may not be any update NPCS, Upgrade Benches are effectively the exact same thing. As with any update system, each upgrade will cost a different amount of gold bars depending on the rarity of the item. Before, Upgrade Benches will make players wait to get their update, but now they are delivered instantly.
The third and most tedious method to update weapons is to utilize Fortnite’s tagging system. In Season 6, players had bones and mechanical components to craft with. Now players need to craft bolts and nuts so as to craft a different weapon. This won’t increase the weapons rarity, but acts as a sidegrade to change the weapon type.
